I make it a personal goal to redesign and refurbish several aspects of my portfolio every year.
Though coding a website myself has been a tedious journey, I'm continuously learning new things and developing my skills/tools.
From branding to testing using Google Analytics, this design portfolio not only displays my works but also show my broad skill sets as a designer.
Problem
How can I build and brand a responsive portfolio site with creativity and good user experience?
Portraying my personality, skills, and experience all in one link can be difficult, especially for someone who only had a basic understanding of programming.
Most importantly, I wanted to express myself well as someone who is dedicated with a unique sense of creativity and unafraid of learning and trying new things.
Also it was essential to convey users that I'm a user-centered and detail-oriented designer through my choices of font, layout, colors, and interactions, along with visually-appealing graphics.
